Rino Baglio – Horn Teacher

He was born in Lucerne (CH) in 1973; he graduated in Horn at the “V. Bellini” Musical Institute in Caltanissetta with the highest marks under the guidance of M° Luciano Labbate. He then perfected himself with masters L. Giuliani, G. Corti, J. Williams, G. Nalli, Höltzel, D. Stagni.
In 1993, with the Italian Youth Orchestra of Fiesole, he began his career as an orchestra professor. Winner of several auditions and competitions, he has collaborated with the Orchestra del Teatro di Messina, with the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Orchestra “Giuseppe Verdi” of Milan, the Orchestra of the “Arturo Toscanini” Foundation of Parma, the Orchestra of the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari, the National Orchestra
of the Accademia S. Cecilia in Rome, the orchestra of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and the Teatro Massimo “Bellini” in Catania.
Since 1995 he has been collaborating assiduously with the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra Foundation in Palermo, where since 2013, he has permanently held the role of III° Corno. At the same time, he carries out an intense concert activity in different chamber formations performing for various associations and musical bodies.
From January 2006 to July 2007, he was part of the orchestra of the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan and the Filarmonica Della Scala.
Since 2001 he has been teaching at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “V.Bellini” in Caltanissetta, as a horn teacher.
