
Lea Cumbo
She began her musical studies in Caltanissetta, her hometown, under the guidance of the teacher Lia Lacagnina Migliore. She proceeded in Palermo under the direction of M° Vincenzo Mannino, obtaining the Piano Diploma with the highest marks at the Conservatory of Music “V. Bellini” in 1982.
She also dedicated herself to the study of Composition under the guidance of M° Teresa Procaccini, obtaining her qualification in 1988.
As an effective student, she attended numerous courses of Perfezionarnento with P.B. Skoda, G. Sàndor, Bruno Mezzena for piano, with Franco Mezzena for Chamber Music, with Teresa Procaccini for Composition and with Eliodoro Sollima for Analysis and Musical Interpretation.
She has an intense concert activity both as a soloist and in different chamber formations.
Winner of the Ordinary Competition for the Teaching of Musical Education in Middle Schools, she is currently a role teacher for Theory, Solfeggio and musical dictation at the “V. Bellini “Drawn Musical Institute in Caltanissetta.
