Miceli Paolo – Clarinet Teacher
He graduated very young at the Conservatory of Music “A. Scontrino” of Trapani under the guidance of Maestro Vittorio Luna, with whom he carried out advanced studies. In 1992 he obtained a diploma of merit at the prestigious “Accademia Chigiana” under the guidance of Maestro Giuseppe Garbarino. He attended the course on the interpretation of 20th Century Music for Solo Clarinet and on the new techniques and instrumental possibilities of the Clarinet applied to contemporary music, earning in 1995 the Diploma of High Specialization at the Italian Academy of Clarinet of Perugia with the M ° Ciro Scarponi. He has collaborated with the Massimo Theater of Palermo and with the Sicilian Symphonic Orchestra and with the Teatro Massino “V. Bellini” of Catania. He has been performing for a long time both as a soloist and in various chamber ensembles for important national musical organizations and associations such as Amici della Musica, A.Gi.Mus., Preggio Festival (Pg), Società Beethoven A.C.A.M. of Crotone, Musical Association “Quintieri” of Cosenza, University of Calabria, UNICEF, Humanitarian Society of Milan and has made several recordings of contemporary authors. He has taught master classes for over a decade. He is currently a lecturer of Clarinet at the Higher Institute of Music Studies “V. Bellini” of Caltanissetta
